Privacy Policy

Who we are

MuchLogic is a software company based in Sri Lanka. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. We wrote it with Sri Lanka’s Personal Data Protection Act No. 9 of 2022 (PDPA) in mind.

For this website, MuchLogic is the controller of your personal data: we decide how it is used and we are responsible for it.

What we collect

When you use our contact form

We only collect what you type into the form:

• your name, email address and phone number
• your company and website, if you add them
• the service you’re interested in and your budget range
• the project details you write
• that you agreed to this privacy policy

When you browse the website

Our hosting provider keeps short-lived technical logs, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to keep the site running and secure. We don’t use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and we don’t build profiles of visitors.

Why we use it

We use the details you send us to:

• reply to your inquiry and arrange a discovery call
• prepare a proposal or quote if you ask for one
• keep a record of our conversation so we can help you better later

We process this data because you gave us your consent when you sent the form, and because it is needed to take the steps you asked for before any contract. You can withdraw your consent at any time (see Your rights).

We won’t send you marketing emails or add you to a mailing list.

Who we share it with

We never sell your personal data, and we don’t share it with anyone for their own marketing. We use a few trusted service providers to run the website and deliver your message to us. They only process your data on our behalf:

• Netlify hosts this website and runs the contact form.
• Resend delivers your inquiry to our inbox by email. This happens automatically when you send the form.
• WhatsApp is only used if you choose it. After you send the form, your own WhatsApp opens with your details filled in; nothing is sent until you press Send there. WhatsApp then handles that message under its own privacy policy.

Some of these providers store or process data outside Sri Lanka, for example in the United States or the European Union. When that happens, we rely on them to protect your data with safeguards that meet the standard the PDPA expects.

We may also share data if the law requires it, for example to answer a valid legal request.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry details for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, so we can follow up on your project. If you become a client, we keep what we need for as long as we work together and for as long as the law requires for business records. After that, we delete it.

Keeping it safe

The website uses HTTPS, so your form is encrypted on its way to us. Only the people at MuchLogic who need your details to answer you can see them, and we use secure, access-controlled accounts with our service providers.

Your rights

Under the PDPA you can ask us to:

• tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy
• correct data that is wrong or incomplete
• delete your data
• stop using your data, or withdraw the consent you gave

To ask for any of these, including to have your data deleted, email us at hello@muchlogic.com from the address you used in the form. We’ll confirm it’s you and reply within 21 working days.

If you’re not happy with how we handled your request, you can complain to the Data Protection Authority of Sri Lanka.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we use personal data, we’ll update this page and the “last updated” date at the top.
